Qantas ANZ Visa Credit Card Guide

So it’s the end of the line for the Qantas ANZ Visa Credit Cards. ANZ have officially pulled the plug on the only Qantas branded cards in New Zealand – there is now no way to directly earn Qantas Points on everyday spend. Keith had a quick conversation with an ANZ rep, you can see the transcript below:

My partner and I both have the Qantas ANZ Visa Platinum, and we wanted to know more specifically how the change would affect us. I contacted ANZ on Twitter, and they’ve confirmed that at this point in time, there are no changes for existing customers – Qantas Point earn rates remain the same, and you can still earn bonus points on eligible Qantas spend.

If you are still determined to earn Qantas Points on everyday spend, you still can, through conversion of Membership Rewards Points with the American Express Platinum Edge Card.
