This is one of the world’s best ways to fly, with a comfortable bed and high degree of privacy, but it is due for a makeover. Still a great use of KrisFlyer miles or Velocity points.

Malaysia Airlines A380 First Class overview - London to Kuala Lumpur
There is no reason to avoid this product, but at the same time, no reason to actively seek it out either. Having said that, thanks to the spacious seat and comfortable bed, I would not hesitate to fly in their First Class again if the opportunity came up.

Singapore Airlines 777-300ER First Class overview
This is the most common Singapore Airlines First Class product available for award redemptions from Auckland and a great use of KrisFlyer miles or Velocity points.

Etihad Airways A330/A340/777 Diamond First Class Overview
The first leg of my flight from Europe back to Australia was in Etihad’s Diamond First Class from Geneva to Abu Dhabi, redeemed using Velocity Points, and I really enjoyed it! Etihad’s ‘standard’ long-haul First Class product offers an excellent seat, and for my flight, great service.
